Full facility design and installation for a major post-production facility, including more than 30 video and audio rooms.Absolute CAD designed and installed the fibre and CAT6A copper network, together with three grading rooms, three online editing rooms, three Dolby Atmos rooms, a Tracklay room, VFX suite and numerous offline editing rooms. We also designed & installed an eight-rack machine room to support the facility's technical infrastructure.
Banijay UK is one of the UK's leading television production groups, producing a wide range of entertainment, factual, documentary and scripted programming. Absolute CAD designed and installed the broadcast infrastructure for B Post, Banijay UK's new London post-production facility, providing the technical infrastructure for offline editing, online and grading, and audio post-production. The project formed part of Banijay UK's expansion of its in-house post-production capabilities and was delivered by Absolute CAD in 2025
String and Tins are a multi-award-winning team of sound designers, composers and mix engineers. Absolute CAD designed and installed all of the broadcast and network infrastructure within multiple audio mixing rooms, including their flagship Dolby Atmos theatre.
The Switch provides live video production, transmission and distribution services to broadcasters, sports organisations and media companies worldwide. Absolute CAD designed and installed the broadcast infrastructure for their London facility, supporting live production, editing, transmission and the distribution of live content across global networks.The project also involved relocating their operational facilities while live productions continued to be played out, requiring careful planning and phased installation to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations. We pride ourselves on beautiful wiring, even when it's behind the scenes. Here you can see our workmanship on the Grass Valley broadcast router and the tie-lines running from the basement to the main transmission control room. During the install we consumed 55km of cable !!
Molinare's Dubbing Theatre A underwent a major refurbishment, including new acoustic fabric and the installation of a new Avid System 5 mixing console, supplied by Scrub, a division of HHB. Absolute CAD designed and installed all of the cabling and technical infrastructure for the refurbished theatre, integrating the new system into the existing facility.The installation was carried out as part of the theatre refurbishment, with the technical infrastructure carefully installed and dressed before the room was returned to its finished appearance.

The Avid Centre of Excellence (ACE) was Avid's flagship customer and demonstration facility at its EMEA headquarters at Pinewood Studios. The facility was designed to showcase Avid's audio, video and broadcast workflows in real working environments, as well as providing training and technical demonstrations.The flagship demonstration rooms and audio theatre were supported by an eight-rack machine room, while the MCR featured a state-of-the-art ThinkLogical fibre KVM switcher.Absolute CAD was commissioned to design, install and configure the technical cabling infrastructure throughout the facility, working alongside Avid and the other technology partners involved in the project. More than 27 kilometres of cable were installed and configured by Absolute CAD, supporting the extensive audio, video, networking and broadcast systems throughout ACE

MySpace's London studio was created to produce high-quality video content for MySpace and its clients. The facility incorporated a three-camera HD studio, production gallery and two Avid edit suites, providing a complete environment for the creation and delivery of broadcast-quality content. Absolute CAD designed and installed the technical infrastructure and cabling for the studio and gallery, integrating the broadcast, audio, video and editing systems into a fully operational HD production facility.The studio was designed as a versatile production environment, capable of supporting a wide range of content creation, from live studio productions and interviews through to post-production and delivery.
GoLocalise is a specialist translation and localisation facility, providing voice-over, dubbing and other language services.Absolute CAD installed the technical cabling infrastructure throughout the facility, connecting the recording rooms, control positions and associated audio, video and monitoring systems.The installation formed part of the wider facility build by Audio Schemes, with Absolute CAD working alongside the team to provide the technical cabling required for the completed facility.
Working alongside AKA Design, Absolute CAD provided the technical cabling for the transformation of a former police riot van into a mobile recording studio for London youth charity XLP. The project incorporated a recording studio, control room and voice booth within the highly confined space of the vehicle, requiring careful planning of the technical cabling and equipment connections.The project was supported by donations from companies within the broadcast and audio industries, with Absolute CAD contributing its cabling expertise to help create a facility that could be taken directly to schools and youth centres.Watch the video below to see the transformation from the original riot van through to the completed mobile recording studio.
Digital Media Services relocated to a new purpose-built facility at Shand House, London Bridge, in January 2017.
Absolute CAD installed all of the technical cabling throughout the new facility, providing the infrastructure to support its production, post-production, audio and media workflows.The installation formed part of the relocation of DMS's operations to its new London premises, with the cabling providing connectivity throughout the facility.
Gorilla Post's Cardiff facility provides post-production services including editing, grading, sound design, mixing and dubbing for television and film.
Absolute CAD installed all of the technical cabling for the dubbing rooms, providing the infrastructure for the audio, video, networking, monitoring and control systems throughout the facility.The installation required detailed wiring between the dubbing rooms and technical equipment, with the cabling carefully installed and dressed to provide a clean and reliable infrastructure behind the finished studios.
