So many contractors now are installing data cables without certifying them. They may have CAT5e or CAT6 printed on the cable, but are they fit for purpose. If your structured cabling has been installed by a reputible data installer they should issue a certificate on completion. If not how do you know it works properly. Absolute CAD have installed hundreds of systems and can easliy check and certify you system too. In most cases the work can be carried out without disruption to your business, testing the cables out of normal office hours.
What's involved ?
FREE Site Visit and survey
Absolute CAD will carry out a non-destructive survey of the structrued cabling within your workplace. This service is normally free of charge, and will enable us to provide an accurate quote for the testing service.
FREE Quotation
Once the site survey has been completed, Absolute CAD will provide a free quotation with a detailed breakdown of costs to test your structured cabling. The quote can cover the basic structured cabling, or hub-to-workstation which also tests the integrity of the patch cables too.
Cable Testing
Once commissioned to carry out the testing, our experience team will be scheduled to come in and test your data cabling. A state of the art Fluke DTX cable analyser is used to guarantee cabling installations comply with all TIA/ISO standards.
Detailed Report
Once all the cables have been tested you will be presented with a detailed report showing the test results for every circuit. If some of the cables fail to adhere to your specifications, Absolute CAD can offer survices to repair any sub-standard circuits.
